Publishing fills career niche for former banker
Ten years into a successful banking career, Michael Gaffney was restless and looking for other business opportunities. Gaffney’s father had recently died at the age of 54 and his sudden passing had caused Gaffney to rethink what he wanted to do with his life.
About that time, when Gaffney was working as a financial officer for Broadway Bank, one of his clients who ran a graphic design business — Chuck Gazlay of Gazlay Graphics — agreed to hire him.
